Round Level Indicator (MT4) – MGH Product Description

MGH Products · MetaTrader 4

RoundLevel Indicator

Stop drawing support and resistance by hand. Institutional “Big Figure” levels — the price zones where central banks, hedge funds, and major desks consolidate positions — automatically mapped on your chart with precision that float arithmetic cannot match.

Financial markets are not driven by random price action — they are driven by institutional liquidity. Central banks, hedge funds, and major commercial traders don’t place orders at arbitrary prices. They consolidate enormous positions at whole-number “Big Figures”: 1.1000, 2000.00, 150.00. These are the real support and resistance levels — not drawn by hand, not subjective, not dependent on any individual’s chart interpretation.

They are mathematically defined, universally respected, and now automatically mapped on your chart with a precision that no manual approach — and no competing indicator — can match.

Why Every Other Round-Number Tool Fails

Most round-level indicators use what appears to be a simple, logical check: price % step == 0. It sounds correct. It fails constantly.

The reason is fundamental to how computers store decimal numbers. Due to the IEEE-754 floating-point standard, a price of 1.2000 can be stored internally as 1.19999999… The modulo check returns false. The level is missed entirely — silently, without warning, on the exact price that institutional traders are watching.

  • Float-based modulo checks miss levels due to IEEE-754 decimal representation errors — no warning, no fallback
  • Fixed-step tools break on JPY pairs, Gold, Crypto, and Indices — requiring manual reconfiguration per symbol
  • No hierarchy — all round levels appear identical regardless of whether they represent day-trader congestion or central bank territory
  • No visual differentiation between minor levels (1.1250) and major institutional levels (1.1000 or 1.0000)

MGH-RoundLevel solves this with a proprietary string-parsing engine. Instead of doing arithmetic on raw float values, it reads the price exactly as MetaTrader displays it on your terminal — then counts the trailing zeros. What you see on your screen is what gets detected. Zero false negatives, zero missed levels.

The ZeroSize System — Quantified Level Strength

Not all round numbers are equal. A level at 1.12500 matters to day traders. A level at 1.10000 matters to institutional desks. A level at 1.00000 matters to central banks. MGH-RoundLevel introduces ZeroSize — a numeric metric that measures exactly how institutionally significant each level is, based on the count of trailing zeros in its price representation.

ZS 5
1.00000

Central banks, sovereign wealth funds — the most watched levels in global finance

ZS 4
1.10000

Major institutional desks — primary accumulation and distribution zones

ZS 3
1.12000

Bank-level intraday liquidity — key levels for large intraday flows

ZS 2
1.12500

Day-trading congestion zones — minor psychological levels, useful for scalpers

Major levels (ZS 4–5) render as thick solid lines visible at any zoom level. Minor levels appear as subtle dashes — present but never distracting. The hierarchy is visible instantly. You never have to decide how important a level is — the indicator has already done that calculation.

Works on Every Market, Every Timeframe

MGH-RoundLevel automatically adapts to the symbol’s digit count and tick size. No manual configuration required — attach it to any chart and it calibrates itself.

💱
Forex (5-digit)

ZS 4 = 1.10000, ZS 5 = 1.00000. Full hierarchy from scalping levels to central bank territory.

🥇
Gold (XAUUSD)

Major psychological levels like 2000.00 and 2500.00 detected with ZS 5 precision automatically.

Bitcoin / Crypto

40,000 · 50,000 · 100,000 — all correctly identified as ZS 4–5 levels without any manual setup.

🇯🇵
JPY Pairs

150.00 on USDJPY is auto-classified equivalent to ZS 4 — correct institutional weight, automatically.

📈
Indices

Works on DAX, S&P 500, NASDAQ without any modification. Key round numbers identified instantly.

A Complete Trading Framework — Not Just Lines on a Chart

MGH-RoundLevel is not a paint-by-numbers tool. It is a decision-making framework. The full methodology is published as an article on MQL5.com — covering how to combine round levels with momentum oscillators, how to read wick rejections at ZeroSize zones, and how to manage risk properly around institutional liquidity. Read the article →

The Momentum Fade Setup — Built Around This Indicator

  1. Price approaches a ZeroSize 3 or higher level — the institutional grid is the anchor, not a manually drawn line
  2. A bound oscillator (RSI or Stochastic) shows overbought or oversold conditions simultaneously — momentum confirms the institutional thesis
  3. A pin bar or wick rejection forms directly on the level — price action confirms that the institutional level is being respected
  4. Enter after candle close, with stop-loss 10–15 pips beyond the round number — placed deliberately beyond institutional stop-hunt territory
The further the ZeroSize tier, the more institutional weight the level carries — and the more aggressively it is defended. A ZS 5 rejection at 1.00000 on EURUSD is categorically different from a ZS 2 bounce at 1.12500. The indicator makes this distinction visible at a glance.

Core Features

🔢

String-Parsing Engine

Reads prices as MetaTrader displays them — not as raw floats — then counts trailing zeros. Zero false negatives, zero missed levels, regardless of floating-point representation.

📊

ZeroSize Hierarchy

Levels are automatically ranked ZS 2 through ZS 5 by institutional significance. Major levels render as thick solid lines; minor levels as subtle dashes. Hierarchy is visible instantly.

🎨

Full Visual Control

Color, line style (solid/dash/dot), and width are independently configurable per ZeroSize tier. Smart labels display ZeroSize strength and round price directly on each level.

VPS-Friendly Performance

Only processes the visible chart range — near-zero CPU and memory overhead. Runs silently alongside any number of other indicators without performance degradation.

🌐

Universal Compatibility

Automatically adapts to any symbol’s digit count and tick size. No manual configuration required when switching between Forex, Gold, Crypto, JPY pairs, or Indices.

📐

Ray & Trend Line Modes

Choose whether levels project as infinite rays across the chart or as bounded trend line segments. Optimized for different chart setups and zoom preferences.

Who Is This For?

🏦
Institutional Traders

Trade the same levels the big players are watching — automatically mapped, correctly weighted.

📉
S&R Traders

Replace hand-drawn support and resistance with mathematically defined institutional grid levels.

Scalpers

ZS 2–3 levels mark high-frequency congestion zones where price repeatedly stalls and reverses.

🌊
Swing Traders

ZS 4–5 levels mark the macro structural framework — where major trend changes originate.

Attach and Go — Zero Configuration Required

MGH-RoundLevel requires no configuration to start working. The string-parsing engine and ZeroSize classification system are fully automatic. There are no parameters to set before the indicator delivers value.

  1. Attach the indicator to any chart in MetaTrader 4 — any symbol, any timeframe.
  2. The institutional grid appears instantly — ZS 2 through ZS 5 levels drawn automatically with correct hierarchy, colors, and styles.
  3. Optionally customize visual settings per ZeroSize tier: color, line style (solid/dash/dot), and line width — all independently configurable.
  4. Optionally enable Smart Labels to display ZeroSize strength and price value directly on each level line.
  5. Choose Ray or Trend Line mode for how levels project across your chart.
  6. Trade with context. Every level you see is the same level institutional desks are watching — nothing more, nothing less.
